#castropignano⏳ Un secolo fa a Santa Lucia c'era un falegname, Nicola Borsella, i figli maschi imparavano il mestiere del padre mentre le femmine imparavano a ricamare per potersi confezionare la dote.
Una di loro "zia Maria a santa Lucia" nel dopoguerra, quando i tempi erano duri, trasformò la sua arte in lavoro e la sua casa divenne un laboratorio frequentato da molte giovani che a loro volta dovevano confezionarsi la "dodda".

Rosario Sergnese a founding member of Club Castropignano Toronto has passed away July 23, 2020. Rosario served on numerous committees for #clubcastropignano over the past 50 years and was always involved in helping the church in Castropignano, Italy. Rosario was instrumental in raising funds and getting the new doors installed at the church in #castropignano. We will forever remember the great passion and love Rosario had for his hometown of Castropignano, Italy.

It’s with great sadness Club Castropignano Toronto announces the loss of one of our founding members Lorenzo (Larry) Marinelli on April 15th, 2020. As many of you know he had not been well for a number of years leading to his passing. Funeral service is being held at the Holly Cross Cemetery on Friday April 17, 2020.
